Positions We Offer
Below are some roles with their descriptions of Hearts of Love for members who join. Feel free to apply to any of the roles that you feel you’re most interested/suitable for the job.
Content Creator Team
Here you would create posts on graphics for our social media platforms. We haven’t created any accounts yet so you’ll be starting from scratch. We will be posting on Instagram, Tiktok, Linkedin and Roundpier and much more!

Content Writers:
You will be finding content and resources for the posts made and you will collaborate with the graphic designers and illustrators if there is any need.
​
Director of Content Writiers
Duties/Responsibilities:
​
Manage day to day jobs of content writers.
Assign work to content writers.
Ensure that all assignments are submitted on time.
Make sure that information provided is accurate.
Provide a reflection journal detailing what has been accomplished in a weekly manner. This info will be inserted into a monthly article to explain to the community about all that has been accomplished so far as well as our plans for the future for Hearts of Love.
Content Writer Executive
​Duties/Responsibilities:
​
Aid the director of content writers in their work
Provide assistance to any of the content writers.
Commit at least 2-3 hours per week towards Hearts of Love.
Constantly brainstorm ideas in terms of content towards the posts/articles that will be generated in collaboration with the graphic designers/illustrators.
Director of Art/Design:
Duties/Responsibilities:
Oversees the day to day tasks of graphic designers, illustrators and product designers.
Assigns tasks to graphic designers/illustrators.
Commit at least 3-4 hours to Hearts of Love.
Illustrators
​Duties/Responsibilities:
​
Your role is to provide drawings that social media managers and graphic designers will use.
Commit at least 2-3 hours per week towards Hearts of Love.
Graphic designers
Duties/Responsibilities:
​​
You must create graphics to complement the post being created .
The posts should follow the Hearts of Love palette
They create everything from posters and billboards to packaging, logos and marketing materials.
Graphic Designers use elements such as shapes, colors, typography, images and more to convey ideas to an audience.
Social Media managers
Duties/Responsibilities:

You must create graphics to complement the post being created .
The posts should follow the Hearts of Love palette
They create everything from posters and billboards to packaging, logos and marketing materials.

Product Designers
Duties/Responsibilities:

Identify opportunities for new products
Set design requirements based on briefs from internal teams and external partners
Research materials and techniques
Sketch drafts on paper or digitally (for example, using CAD)
Use 3D modeling software to design products and components
Improve the design of existing products
Gather feedback from product users
Web Development Team

Duties/Responsibilities:

Primary manager and builder of the Hearts of Love website.
Assigns tasks to members and oversees the production of the website.
Executives
​Duties/Responsibilities:
​
Assist the director in managing the Hearts of Love website.
Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript required
Designers
Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist the director in designing the Hearts of Love website.
Must know how to use figma or sketch
Members

Builders of the Hearts of Love website.
Experience in either HTML, CSS, or JS required
Editorial Team
Ideas Generator
Duties/Responsibilities:
​
Brainstorm ideas on a weekly basis for media posts and newsletter.
Work on editorial projects/assignments for Hearts of Love, article editing/writing, post editing, collaboration, on a regular basis as well as being able to get all work submitted in a timely fashion.
Collaborate with Graphic Design team and content creators in terms of the generation of Posts on various platforms such as instagram and more as well as the newsletter.
Have a good grasp of grammar and standard English writing conventions.
Interviewers
​Duties/Responsibilities:
​
You will interview our guests for our podcasts and newsletters.
You must have great journalism skills to ask intriguing questions.
Editors/Writers/Proofreaders
Duties/Responsibilities:
The editors/writers will be in charge of drafting the monthly newsletter detailing what Hearts of Love have accomplished in a monthly fashion, as well as other information such as events, fundraisers, charities, etc. we are currently/planning on establishing.
They are also in charge of proofreading articles/posts/funding pages/etc… for errors, organizational flaws, or other issues in writing and clarity.
Have a well developed writing skill in terms of writing convention, analytical skills, organizational skills, time management skills, and etc…
The Newsletter

Purpose:
Communicate to the community regarding our accomplishments in a monthly fashion.
Express our association’s plans for the future.
Detail current/future events, charities, fundraisers, etc… that we’re planning to establish.

Here you will make our budgets in order to make sure we don’t overspend or underspend.
Event Planning Team
Event Coordinator
Duties/Responsibilities:
​
Planning event aspects, such as venue, seating, dining, and guest list
Coordinating event entertainment, including music, performers, and guest speakers
Staying under budget while planning event specifications
Communicating with content creation team to create effective advertisements for each event, and when necessary crafting marketing materials such as print and Internet advertisements for individual events
Anticipating and planning for different scenarios
Event Planning Director
Duties/Responsibilities:​

​Creating event proposals which fit client requirements and presenting proposals by deadline and sending them to founders.
Maintaining a working relationship with vendors and venues
Delegating event planning tasks to other staff members where necessary
Demonstrating to clients strong knowledge of venues and vendor offerings and taking clients on tours of venue possibilities
Staying under budget while planning event specification
Issuing invoices and collecting payments in a timely manner, and creating comprehensive and readable financial reports
Managing and overseeing events on the day of, including problem-solving, welcoming guests, directing event set-up, communicating with staff, and organising vendors.
Event Planning Executive
Duties/Responsibilities:

Chapters
Director
Duties/Responsibilities:
​
here you would organize the chapters across the world.
The chapter lead is the line manager for the chapter members, responsible for developing people and the things happening in the chapter but still is a member of the squad and does day-to-day work.
Creating a developer culture is not nice to have, it is the only way to move forward and it's all about processes.
Outreach Team
Outreach Team
Here you will create outreach messages and share through media platforms such as discord servers, instagram etc.
You will carry out the recruitment process.
You must also advertise the foundation at numerous schools each month.
You must commit at least 3-4 hours a week for Hearts of Love.
